Intermediate Tibetan class:
Debating Collected Topics with Craig Preston.
Course Description
This is an ongoing class where students learn the form of debate used in Tibetan monastic colleges. The text we are using is The Presentation of Collected Topics Revealing the Meaning of the Texts on Valid Cognition, the Magical Key to the Path of Reasoning, by Pur-bu-jok-jam-ba-gya-tso. We have a masterful translation and commentary to supplement the course with Debate in Tibetan Buddhism (Textual Studies & Translations in Indo-Tibetan Buddhism) Paperback – Illustrated, January 1, 1992 by Daniel E. Perdue (Author)
