General Interest class:

Reading Recognizing Reality with Craig Preston.

(11:30 am - 01:00 pm Pacific Time, Thursdays)

Recognizing Reality: Dharmakirti's Philosophy and Its Tibetan Interpretations Hardcover – January 1, 1997 by Georges B.J. Dreyfus (Author)

Course Description

Recognizing Reality is one of those challenging books that is fun to read slowly, sentence by sentence, and talk about with others interested in its treasures. Just my opinion here, but that's why I'm offering the course. In addition, my two intermediate Tibetan translation classes Tenets of the SÅ«tra School, and Minds and Awareness will be reading monastic textbooks introducing the basic topics in ways Dreyfus talks about with deep insight.
