The Dharma Farm is an online Tibetan language translation school. We have translated Tibetan Buddhist works for over 40 years and we like to teach others how to do this, too.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational foundation.

About Us

The Dharma Farm Translation School offers all the fun of Graduate School in Buddhist Studies without the pressure.

Our methods of teaching Classical Tibetan translation are systematic, detailed, and have proven effective for over 20 years of teaching.

Our faculty has years of experience orally translating for Esteemed Lamas, teaching Tibetan translation, and working with Nepalese Non-Profits on disaster response and prevention.

Our students of all ages are a global community, both monastics and lay people developing their skills reading and understanding Tibetan — and having fun at the same time.
